A chance for you, an Upwey Belgrave RSL member to have your say, we NEED to hear from you on the matters, issues, items we need to address on a building and grounds level, a structural level and on a business level.

Please fill in your name and contact details on this link and we will be in touch.

Our Development Working Group had a brilliant day on Saturday 24th August walking the RSL from the front of the driveway, across to the fire pit down to the cenotaph, and throughout the venue itself,  writing down our 'wish list'.

Thank you to Kerry, Debbie and Zane for representing the committee.

Lots of ideas were shared, a waterfall out the front, new furniture, amphitheatre and so many more. On a more practical side it has really highlighted that we need some good old fashioned working bees just to do some basics.

The lists will be added to data collected from more brainstorming sessions which will be held over the next few weeks which we will bring to the strategy day in October.

RSL Foyer Display

The foyer display is changed on a regular basis.

We have two dedicated cabinets aimed at educating patrons on facts, expereinces, stories, and moment in times of AUstralians at war and Peacekeeping missions.

Our museum staff dedicate hours on researching and sourcing items for the display.

Come in and appreciate all the hard work.

DIsplay One:

Depicts the war in Vietnam, celebrating
Vietnams Veterans day which was on Sunday 18 August and give an overview of the events and battles that happened during the conflict.

Display Two:

Represents Water Transport in the Army. This shows the different water
craft that the Army has and operates including the Army Duck, LARC, Landing craft (Model) and other small water craft. Gives an overview of sailors in the Army and what they did.

Big Thank You to Cliff

Huge thank you to one of our members Cliff for volunteering his afternoon on Saturday to gurney our tank. It looks brand new.
