Graeme Tuplin

Graeme Tuplin, has been a long time patron at the RSL.

Graeme is well know around the Upwey and Belgrave area for his long term involvment in the football and cricket clubs and on various multi level commitees.

In June 2023, Graeme, an Accountant came onboard our commitee as the Treasurer. He has implmented change that has had an immediate impact on the success of the RSL. This inturn increases the support we can offer our Veterans.

For Graeme the success of the job has an emotional significance.

His father Charlie Tuplin was an RSL regular every Friday afternoon until his death in 2019. Charlie loved coming up and sitting at the "round table" with fellow locals and his friends. Chatting and solving all the problems of the world. Charlie enlisted with the RAAF in November 1943.

Volunteers roles are available onsite, remote or hybrid.

Running Rabbit Military Museum

The only accredited RSL museum in Victoria.

A troop of volunteers, with the almighty tasks of collating, researching, repairing, restoring and preparing items for display.

Behind the Scenes Report

Volunteer Software:

The Upwey Belgrave RSL are run 98% by volunteers.

We are moving forward with the times and along all RSL Victoria sub branches are moving away from manual record keeping for volunteer hours to an online format.
This will assit us for insurance compliance and to assist with grants, training, governance and record keeping the Upwey Belgrave RSL.

As members we will be able to provide you with reports like we have never been able to before. Very progressive times for us.

Volunteer Recruitment:

We have recently recruited two amazing volunteers to assist with compliance, structure and safety management.

These two ladies come with extensive experience and expertise. We are looking forward to the changes they can assist us with.

Welcome Deb and Bridgette.
